Γεννημένος το 1933 o Byther Smith, παίζει ηλεκτρικό, "mellow" Blues της σχολής του μεγάλου Μagic Sam και του γνωστού Otis Rush. H μουσική του παραγωγή δεν είναι μεγάλη σε ποσότητα, είναι όμως μεγάλη σε αξία! Η αναγνώρισή του ως μουσικός άργησε να έρθει αλλά δεν το επεδίωξε κιόλας (να σημειωθεί πως στα νεανικά του χρόνια ήταν πυγμάχος). Είναι ξάδερφος του άλλου μεγάλου θρύλου του Blues, J.B. Lenoir! Έχει έρθει στην Ελλάδα κι είμαι τυχερός που τον έχω δει! Τον ακούμε σ' ένα κομμάτι τύπου Mannish Boy (πιο ρυθμικό και πιο χαλαρό)!

Do you really think that Greece is a little paradise? Oh, Greece is the country of the absolute nothing, my net friend! The only thing that i am proud of is the ancient years! Greece gave the light to the world! But for the time being, it's nothing, nothing at all!

Can I add to Diatton's comment that, Greece is a place of many contradictions.
You can experience the absolute beauty and then around the corner you can see something that takes you back to medieval times.
As our friend "Diatton" mentioned, Greece gave the Light to the rest of the world, but....we only kept a little bit for ourselves here..
On a more serious note, Greece can be a beautiful place, as long you don't let "little" things get into you.
